A Brief HistoryIn 1981 God called me to preach his Gospel, I did not know where or when, but I surrendered to the call. I finished Bible College and served as an associate pastor, youth pastor, music minister,Sunday school teacher, and church janitor. All these posititions were to prepare me for the Ministry God would have for me later. The Lord worked in my life and prepared me, and soon led me to the city of Katy, Texas. Here in Katy, my wife, Tammy, and myself would start the Cornerstone Baptist Church, in the conference room of the Best Western Hotel on Interstate 10. We soon moved from there to meet in the West Memorial Elementary School. From there we moved to our current location to the facilities on Fm 1463, across the street from the Katy High School. We have been blessed with some families that just love the Lord and want to serve Him. We have seen God work miracles in their lives, and many prayers answered. We have seen many of our children and adults accept Jesus as Lord of their lives and have had the privilege of baptizing them into the church. The church has grown as a family together, working to build the kingdom for the glory of God. |

Our Future Our Challenge To You We want to challenge you to come and join us in this effort to build this church for God. We are looking for the strong at heart, those with a pioneer spirit, those who don't mind starting at the bottom and fighting their way to the top. We are on the front lines of the battle for men's souls, come fight with us. The way will be rough, the road narrow, but with power of the Holy Spirit, we will be victorious.
